the musicians on stage are carefully curated as a group that we think will groove harmoniously together.

any and all sit-ins are by invite only from the musicians on stage. the #1 question we get is “how do i get asked to sit in?” and the answer is simple - befriend the musicians on stage, be part of the culture, and give back to the groove.

totally, but please know that standing in front of the stage with your axe out of the case hoping for a shot to play isn’t a fast track to making friends.

we hold community above all else at VGM and recommend attending a monday just to hang, meet people, and make friends.
